We've updated some stuff here at FAP

First, there will be no FAP show this week since we've decided to try a bi-weekly format for the show. We thought that producing a show every other week instead of every week will not only give us all more time to shoot (isn't that the whole point?) but allow us more time to create quality content. Personally, as much as I love doing this show, I just don't have enough time right now to produce an episode every week while maintaining the quality I promised myself I would maintain. I hope you all understand and if we decide to go back to a weekly format you'll be the first to know. I may throw in an occasional announcement or special feature now and then if warranted.

Secondly, you may have noticed a change in the look of the firegroundaction.com website. This is because, as of yesterday, I've changed to a Wordpress-based CMS (Content Management System). Because of required changes in the site's domain mapping, you may have to change the way you get the podcasts. This only affects people who use direct links to the episodes to download or listen to the shows. If you used to access the episodes via "/Media.html", etc., this will no longer work. You can access the FAP podcast feed directly via "http://feeds2.feedburner.com/firegroundactionphotography". This will get you to the .m4a versions of all the shows. Another way to do this is to come here to the blog and click on the "LISTEN TO THIS EPISODE NOW" link below each episodes shownotes. If you need the .mp3 version of the show, click on the "DOWNLOAD THE MP3" link below each episode. I've created these links for your convenience so please feel free to make use of them. I spent a couple of hours yesterday updating the links to all of the shows. Please let me know if any of the links do not work properly for you.

If you use iTunes, or some other RSS reader, nothing should change. While I'm on the topic, I would prefer that you subscribe to the FAP podcast via iTunes but the method with which you listen to the show is completely up to you. If you do use iTunes, I would appreciate it if you would take an extra moment to leave a review (preferably a positive one! :^>).

Please email me with your questions, topic ideas, comments, concerns, fireground reports, etc. We can't do this show without you so we encourage your participation and input.

I think that's all I have for now, back to tweeking the website...

Thanks so much for your continued support and be safe out there!
